Kitchen Assistant
Permanent

Do you like children and like to be busy?  This could be the job for you.
We require a reliable kitchen assistant for our busy, friendly school canteen. 
You will be working 11.25 hours a week, 11.15am – 1.30pm, Monday – Friday, term time only. Salary is £12.01 per hour.
Relevant experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given. 


We are looking for someone who
· is caring and friendly
· work effectively as part of a busy team
· uses initiative as well as being able to follow clear guidelines and protocols.

1-1 SEND Learning Support Assistant

Fixed Term linked to an Education Health and Care Plan

Commencing 5th September 2024

Level 4, ranging from points 6 to 7 (£13,622.80 - £13,851.44) per annum

(April 2024 pay award pending)

 

25 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 1.00pm, term time only. These hours may change as and when the child’s EHCP changes

Are you an excellent and experienced Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs?

We require an enthusiastic, empathetic and positive individual who has experience of working with SEND children and is confident in supporting their needs. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, have good communication skills, can work well as part of a team and has a commitment to improving and developing their own practice. Experience working with children with complex learning needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is beneficial.

Job Duties:

Provide 1:1 support to a child with an EHCP 

Assist with the implementation of individualised support plans (ISPs)

Support the child in accessing the curriculum and classroom activities

Help the child develop social and communication skills

Monitor and record the child’s progress and behaviour

Collaborate with teachers, parents and other professionals to ensure the child’s needs are met

GCSE qualification in Maths and English or equivalent is essential.

Nursery Lunchtime Assistant

 

We are looking to appoint a reliable, caring and motivated Nursery Lunchtime Assistant to join our hardworking and valued nursery team as soon as possible.

 

The role will be to assist the children during lunchtime and to provide playground support and supervision, including basic medical care where necessary. You will be working both inside and outside the school buildings and you will need to work effectively as part of a team, enjoy working with young children and demonstrate organisation, patience & understanding. Training, including first aid, will be provided.

 

The hours are 5 hours per week (11.30am – 12.30pm), term time only.  Salary is: £12.21 per hour.
