Mrs H. Corrigan
Class Teacher
My name is Mrs Corrigan and I have been a teacher at Chalkwell Infants since 2009. Currently, I am teaching in reception but I have taught in year 1 so have an excellent understanding of the learning journey the children will take through reception and beyond. This enables them to develop into happy and confident learners. I enjoy supporting the children with new challenges, helping them to persevere and seeing the pride on their faces when they achieve.
My favourite things to do in school are building relationships with the children, reading stories and listening to stories the children have written at home.
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, growing my own food and making jam and chutney with the fruits I have grown.

Mrs B. Bard
Class Teacher
Hello, I’m Mrs Bard and I currently teach in Class Northern Ireland for three days a week. I worked at Chalkwell from 2004 to 2014, but couldn’t keep away so returned to work with the amazing teachers again in 2018. I have a real passion for teaching and had my mind set on becoming a teacher from a young age after watching my Dad teach. When I’m not teaching I like to spend time with my friends and family, play board games and take walks through the woods or along the beach.

Mrs C. Cross
Class Teacher
I have been a member of staff at Chalkwell for 12 years and before I joined the team, both my children attended the school so it has created lots of happy memories over the years. This year I will be sharing Class Northern Ireland with Mrs Bard and am excited to be returning to Reception after being in Year 1 in recent times. I enjoy Yoga, Pilates and gardening in my leisure time.

Mrs T. Dove
Class Teacher
My name is Mrs Dove, I have been teaching at Chalkwell Hall Infants for 5 years. I love working here and being part of such a wonderfully talented and supportive team. I currently teach in reception but have taught in year 2 which has given me a broad understanding of children’s learning journey through their time in the infants. I love building relationships with the children, supporting and encouraging them to develop a love of learning. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family. We love walks in the woods and on the beach, especially if we get to have an ice-cream!
Mrs H. Morley
Higher Level Teaching Assistant
I’m Mrs. Morley and I have been at Chalkwell Hall Infants school since 2012 and I love being part of such a lovely team. My role as an HLTA enables me to work with children across all year groups, which I really enjoy. When I am not at school I like socialising with my friends, spending time with my family and taking my dog Dennis on long walks.
Mrs L. Alsop
LSA
I have been working at Chalkwell Hall Infants as an LSA since 2018 following several years being involved as a parent helper and with the PTA. I was fortunate to be able to qualify as an LSA whilst volunteering at Chalkwell. I am passionate about the early years curriculum and love watching the new intake develop in their first year in ‘big school’.
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, going to Belfairs Wood and watching movies.
