Christmas Jumper Day
The Eco Warrior team made plans to add a little eco twist to our Christmas Jumper Day. We discussed the energy saving tip of putting on a jumper before we turn the heating up in our homes. We all agreed that Christmas Jumper Day would be a perfect opportunity to both raise money for Save the Children and raise awareness about saving energy.
Our Eco Warriors have been thinking about how we can reduce, reuse and recycle. We decided to have a ‘Re-love Your Stuff’ stall at the PTA Christmas Fayre. Our friends donated their preloved school uniform and the Eco Warriors set it all out on their stall. Our customers were so happy to be able to reuse the school uniform as it was in such good condition. This is a great way for us to work towards our commitment to make small changes that can have an impact on our local community. We already have plans for the summer fayre to reduce, reuse and recycle our cuddly toys!
