Gardening Club

Our school Gardening Club meets every Tuesday after school and we care for the flower beds around our school. In the Autumn term we harvested the seeds from our sweet peas and sowed poppy seeds for Remembrance Day. We even created a dinosaur world for our Early Years children to enjoy.

The Gardening Club is also working on a project with the Southend Parks Team to develop the wildlife garden in Chalkwell Park. The children planted a butterfly bulb mix of daffodils, snowdrops and crocuses to attract wildlife to the garden.
