Miss F. Whitmarsh
Class Teacher
I am Miss Whitmarsh and I teach in Year 2 but have taught in Year 1 and Year 3 before. I have taught at Chalkwell since 2014 and enjoy being part of such a wonderful school. I am the Eco Lead and support the Eco Warriors. We work together to make our school, local community, and world more eco-friendly. I enjoy teaching reading, phonics, and history and thoroughly enjoy visiting museums or galleries. Outside of school, I am usually found sight-seeing, baking, at the theatre or concerts. I love live music and exploring new cities. My favourite animals are cats, especially tigers. Unfortunately, I can't own a tiger so I have a cheeky, energetic tabby cat called Twyla.

Mr G. Farquharson
Class Teacher
I'm Mr Farquharson and I have been teaching at Chalkwell Hall Infant School since 2022. Before becoming a teacher, I worked in the City for many years specialising in Corporate Financial Risk Management. Since becoming a teacher, I have been especially interested in learning and understanding how to best support the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people. I also recently graduated from the University of Nottingham with a Masters in Special and Inclusive Education. I am currently the PE & Sports Lead at Chalkwell Hall Infants and this a role I enjoy very much having been a Junior Football Coach a few years ago. Outside of work, I support Notts County and enjoy listening to music and going to gigs. I also have a West Highland Terrior called Bucky who keeps me active at the weekends!
Mrs S. Bygrave
Higher Level Teaching Assistant
I’m Mrs Bygrave and I was lucky enough to join the lovely family that is Chalkwell Infants, as an HLTA, in 2018. I have previous experience locally in the same role, in both KS1, KS2 and as an Early Years Practitioner. I love the opportunity of getting to know all of the children in the year group and watching them flourish.
Outside of school I enjoy music, sport and walking, filling the rest of my time keeping a close eye my two teenagers and my dog Frankie!
