We use the work of artists and craftspeople as well as cross curricular links and genres to inspire the learning in art and design. Children have regular opportunities to explore the works of others to develop their appreciation and understanding of art within our culture, history and society. Through regular practice and experience children develop their skills and understanding of the elements of art and develop proficiency in drawing, painting and other artforms.
