***KS1 Mixed Tag Rugby Tournament - 23rd April 2024***

Our mixed Tag Rugby team represented our School at Southend Rugby Club where they participated in the Borough KS1 Tag Rugby Tournament. The team did a fantastic job, scoring lots of tries and taking lots of tags off their opponents too! We finished 6th overall, displayed great sportsmanship to our opponents and demonstrated all of our REACH values. We are very proud of all of the team and thank you to everyone who supported us at the event also.

***KS1 Boys Football Finals ***

This afternoon our KS1 Boys Football Team took part in the Borough Football Finals. The boys played extremely well, winning 3 games, drawing 3 and losing only 1. The tournament was extremely close fought with the top 3 teams only being separated by goal difference! We came 3rd which is a fantastic achievement! The boys demonstrated all of our REACH values and we are very proud of what they have achieved!

*** KS1 Girls Football Tournament ***

This morning our KS1 Girls Football Team entered their first ever tournament. We played against a number of schools from across Southend and won 2 games, drew 1, only losing 1. The girls demonstrated all of our REACH values and were wonderful role models for our school. They have made amazing progress in such a short period of time and we are so proud of them!
