Admissions

Children can join Chalkwell Hall Nursery from the term following their third birthday. Places are allocated in accordance with our Nursery Admissions Policy.

Funded Childcare

All children aged 3–4 years are entitled to 15 hours of funded early education and childcare per week. Eligible working families may be entitled to up to 30 funded hours per week. To find out whether you are eligible, please follow this link.

Nursery Fees

For families who are not eligible for funded childcare, or who require additional sessions beyond their funded entitlement, nursery sessions are charged at £18.00 per three-hour session.

Lunch Club

We offer a Lunch Club for a limited number of children. Children attending Lunch Club can have a hot school meal for £2.80 per day or should bring a healthy packed lunch from home for no charge.

During Lunch Club, children are supervised by qualified members of staff and enjoy additional opportunities for outdoor play and social interaction.

Healthy Snacks

A substantial healthy snack is provided during each nursery session. Our snack menu is carefully planned to encourage children to make healthy choices while exploring a variety of foods, textures and tastes.

Snack Charges:

• Part-time attendance (mornings or afternoons): £2.50 per week
• Full-time attendance: £5.00 per week

If parents supply their own snacks, there is no charge.

Teatime Club

Our popular Teatime Club provides children with a warm, light meal in a relaxed and nurturing environment at the end of the nursery day.

Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Days: Monday to Thursday
Time: 2.55pm – 5:30pm
Cost: £18.00 per session
