The Queen's Green Canopy

Our Gardening Club children had a great opportunity to work with the Parks Team to plant Blackthorn and Hawthorn whips over in Chalkwell Park. This planting project is linked to The Queen’s Green Canopy which invites people to “Plant a Tree for the Jubilee”. 

 

Our Gardening Club did a fantastic job of planting the whips which will grow to become important hedgeland needed for wildlife in Chalkwell Park
