Match Funding

Many companies throughout the UK offer employees the chance to boost their charity fundraising efforts by 'matching' the money they raise. It really is money for nothing and, with your support, our PTA could double the amount of cash you help to raise, with very little effort, through either donating to our charity or by volunteering at future events.

Not all companies offer match funding but those that do will pledge a sum of money relating to the amount an employee has raised for or donated to a charity (often £ for £). Generally speaking, banks and building societies, insurance companies, supermarkets, utility providers, phone companies and car manufacturers are known historically to offer match funding schemes. If you plan to volunteer to help at PTA events or may donate to the PTA charity in the future then please contact your company's Human Resources department to check whether they operate such a scheme. As an example, the employer of one parent who volunteered to help on a stall at our summer fayre, was given a £500 donation to the PTA from match funding.

Gift Aid

The PTA welcomes donations not only from companies but also from individuals, especially when made via our Gift Aid registration with Wonderful.org. If you are a UK taxpayer and make your donation via the link below we can claim back tax on the donations you make which effectively increases the amount we receive by 25p for every £1 donated at no cost to the taxpayer. Sponsorship

If you have your own business or work for a local business then you may be interested in sponsoring a stall or placing an advert in the events programme for our summer and Christmas Fayre's. As many of you will know, these events have always been very popular and well attended and as such we would like to support our local businesses by offering them the opportunity to advertise and promote themselves at our largest events of the year. In exchange for a donation to the PTA, we would include details of your businesses on the relevant sponsored stalls as well as in the promotional materials we produce for each fayre including newsletters, posters and event programmes which are distributed to all school parents as well as in the local community.
