Mrs D. Maynard
Class Teacher & Key Stage 1 Leader
I joined Chalkwell Hall Infants in 2007 as a student teacher and I have been lucky enough to teach in all three year groups during my time here. I love the community and family feel that Chalkwell Infants has and love how our ethos and vision is truly embedded in all we do. It is great to be part of your children’s learning journey and it is wonderful to see your children develop and grow during their time with us. When I am not working I am mum to three children and spend the vast majority of my time running them around to their clubs and hobbies, but when I do find time for myself I like to spend it in the garden and reading.

I’m Miss D’Auria and I am a class teacher at Chalkwell Hall Infants. Currently, I am teaching in Year 2 and love being part of such a supportive school. I am very passionate about education; there is little more rewarding than encouraging and supporting children’s development. I love building relationships with the children and seeing their confidence shine through. Outside of school I enjoy keeping fit, reading and spending quality time with family and friends.

Mrs H. Matthews
Higher Level Teaching Assistant
I started at Chalkwell as a parent helper when my own children attended the school and joined the staff in 2011. I really enjoy my role as I have the opportunity of working with children from most classes in all year groups. Outside of work I enjoy being with my family, playing tennis and walking my lovely dog Carlo.
Mrs J. Lang

I really love seeing them grow and become ready for the next stage in their education. Currently I support in many classes and work individually with lots of pupils to help them to progress well. I also mentor all the NQTs, students and volunteers in school. Outside of school I am a Girls' Brigade leader and like to spend time with my family on walks and visits to historical places.
